Good Morning Saints of the Most High,
Often times during the day or week we find ourselves fretting and contemplating how things are going to get done, how issues will be solved, how bills can be paid, how others think about us and so on. We tend to focus on these things instead of focusing on His promises. Whatever you focus on will dominate you! When you worry, that dominates you. When you focus on yourself, you become anxious about the cares of this world and become dominated by those thoughts. Gradually, your agenda becomes more important than God’s. Now is the time to stop giving attention to those things and begin considering God’s provision for those things. Let us get our thinking off the problems and onto His promises. Psalms 37:1-6 says “fret not thyself….rather trust in the Lord….delight thyself in the Lord and He shall give….Commit thy way unto Him and He shall bring it to pass.” When we focus on Him, we find ourselves thanking Him, praising Him, and worshiping Him. Let His promises dominate our minds, not worry.

“The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.  And they who know your name will put their trust in thee; for thou, Lord, has not forsaken those who seek thee.”  (Psalms 9:9-10)
